Dalia Davidson-Account Rep, Zigi NYC

For the second time in a month a sales rep from Zigi NY gets a mention for job WELL DONE! This time it is the brand owners daughter, Dalia Davidson who waved me down at a recent tradeshow rather than waiting for me to enter the booth on my own. Dalia’s father is the owner and designer of the company who spent his career designing private label women’s footwear for brands many international brands. I asked Dalia what she believed is contributing to the company’s growth over the last year. She said, “We are true product people. We know our stuff. We work with the best people, the best factories and now it’s just all about us getting the brand out there!” From what I can tell they are working very hard to do just that. Dalia was working very hard and from what she tells me was actually visiting boutiques and stores all around the city personally to introduce the line. I love the ambition….that’s what it takes these days!
After reviewing the line, I do have to say that although they are manufactured in China they had the look and feel of a Brazilian made shoe. Most of the designs are very creative and I was pleasantly surprised by the price point.
