I received a sad call yesterday regarding the passing of TapouT founder, Charles “Mask” Lewis who died in a car crash in Newport Beach, CA. early in the morning.  We would like to send our deepest condolences all the friends, family and colleagues affected by this tragic loss.  Skechers USA Inc. based in Manhattan Beach, Ca. owns the license to the footwear line for TapouT which recently launched at WSA. Ally and I heard the TapouT story this past trip to Vegas and we were excited to be featuring the brand in the very near future. I had a plan to call the brands PR contact this week.    Instead of posting details on the crash and the end of his life, I am posting the link to an interview he had last July with Sports Illustrated  in order to celebrate his life.  I did not know Mask, but all I have heard about him is that he was inspiring, energetic and passionate about everything he committed himself to.  I always appreciate a person who is not afraid to go for it and who puts their heart into what they love to do. I am inspired by his story and I hope you will be too.
