2. The American Apparel and Footwear Association named their 2009 recipients for the 31st Annual American Images Awards. Among those awarded were, Wolverine World Wide and Lilly Pulitzer among others. 3. Varvatos and Converse co-sponsored a charity fundraiser which raised $350,000 for the Stuart House Rape Treatment center in Los Angeles recently. 5. Buyers seemed to be excited about the luxury lines shown in Paris. It seems that the economy is pushing designers and brands to really put their passion into their work.
