This is the second store Jorge visited for us. We have one more coming to you shortly! I have heard a lot about The Walking Company but actually have never been in one of their stores….I am thinking Jorge is a keeper!

Strolling along the RiverWalk in Downtown is definitely one of the finer things to do here in New Orleans. Keep on strolling through and you’ll land your feet right in the gorgeous riverside mall where a slew of fanciful stores teem with attractive merchandise on every side. One of these impressive stores that catch your eye is The Walking Company. They specialize in comfort shoes from great brands such as Raffini, Zealand, Echo, Tikilino, Mephisto, and Dansko. “Comfortable shoes is one of the best investments one could make, and it’s not as expensive as people think!” stated Ms. Rhonda Kelley, manager of the New Orleans Riverside branch. In store, they have the equipment to measure the arch as well as pressure points on a person’s feet to tailor the shoes to each customer specifically. They have recently opened a new store in the famous Mall Of Louisiana in Baton Rouge and plan to push hard to retain market share for the year. Next time you find yourself walking with sore feet on the RiverWalk, stop by The Walking Company and slip into comfort.
