The third store Jorge decided to visit is Aerosoles. So thanks to Jorge we got a glimpse into a locally owned boutique then two national chains.  What I noticed with all three of the people he met is that they seem to be optimistic and positive which is not only great, but very necessary!! Aerosoles-Being a woman is hard work, being moms, models, married, and mobile all at the same time! Life can get hectic really quick and in the blink of an eye the day is done and your feet are ready to fall off. As a result, a lot of women walk around all day in physical pain constantly and just “suck it up” to do what is necessary; but do they have to?

Aerosoles is a business whose entire focus is centered on comfortable working shoes for women. Founded in 1987 by Jewl Snider, It is an independent national brand that has retail stores all over the United States; providing comfortable shoes from casual flip-flops to showboating high-heels. Their New Orleans location has resided in the RiverSide Mall for fifteen years now and features in every convention that comes to the area. Bill Shallen, the New Orleans manager, remarked, “Our goal is to increase consumer awareness of our products by as much outside promotion as possible. I myself attend about one hundred conventions a year on average.” Comfort shoes are not a new concept, but it is a commonly forgotten option when someone thinks to go out and buy a new pair of shoes. Aerosoles is determined to inform working women that they do not need to look far for comfort.
