One of the highlights of my trip in June was when I met Morgan Williams of Running with Heels. I posted something about her a few months back and then emailed her in the hopes that we could meet. Lucky for me we did. Within a matter of a few minutes of conversation, Morgan and I totally hit it off based on the fact that we both have new websites in the footwear industry and we both are out there pounding the pavement to make them successful. Her site www.runningwithheels.com is and online magazine  for the lady shoe lover…the consumer, however; she does a great job of engaging the footwear industry so that her readers don’t only get to see the new cool shoes out there, they also get to learn about the industry itself which I think is great!

Running with Heels is owned by H.H. Brown, but the site is truly Morgan’s baby. She is as passionate about her site as I am about mine and it was so much fun to talk to someone who understands what I am doing. Morgan spends her time scouting new cool brands, interviewing designers, visiting stores, and much much more in order to bring the shoe lovers out there everything they need to know to be sure they are wearing the hottest shoes of the season. I am really looking forward to partnering with Morgan and Running with Heels in the future on some very fun projects! If you are out at WSA or heading out there soon, keep your eye out for her because I am sure she will be running around and talking to everyone! She is so awesome and you should definitely take the time to say hello!

PS-I am so sad I won’t be there too!
