The FLEXX @ SMOTA

It’s a BOY!! Congratulations FLEXX on it’s seventh week in business!

I found The FLEXX, just relaxing in the middle of an aisle after they just experienced the typical hysteria of these trade shows: astronomically high food prices. spent $30 for four hotdogs, it was a stick-up in broad daylight! But despite the shock, we got to converse a little about their business.

The FLEXX,  a company based upon the great comfort material that it has created, is rocking and rolling pushing strong right out of inception! Its founders, Emilio and his son Axel Kaiser, have been in business in Europe and now with Michael Long and Patrick Taylor, who have worked together for years at Aerosoles and have decided to venture off and bring this unique line to America!

The catch phrase is, “Fashion fused, Comfort based” and come see for yourself; they indeed have a very fashionable line that could be ready to storm the market and bring comfort shoes to a vast majority that before, where unable to purchase them. Michael mentioned, “There’s almost noone who can list  a pair of shoes out of Europe for under $100; we retail ours between $59-$89!”

It’s a great opening shoe company marketing mainly contemporary footwear, namely flats. It is selling like crazy in east Europe and now, surprisingly enough, has repartnered with Aerosoles to bring it to the continental US.
