Corso Como, when fashion meets ecology
by JULIA

Corso Como Val Pump
Yesterday I went to my first show in Miami: SMOTA. I met a lot of fabulous people representing great brands!
One of them was Danielle from Corso Como, a hand-assembled shoe line made in Brazil in the most elite boutique factories. Danielle Rosen was very friendly and interesting to talk to as she is the Southeast and East Coast Territory Manager, based in Miami, FL. She was very welcoming and enthousiastic about the brand values she represents and gave me a lot of insideful details. Corso Como started four and a half years ago, and also englobe the Diamond Collection, the high end brand, which will be launch February 10, of 2010. Corso Como shoes are made of naturally treated leather. A soft leather lining is also used, which allows the feet to breathe while reducing humidity. But the idea that I liked above all is that Corso Como promotes the idea of style with a conscience. As an advocate for various environmental and social causes, Corso Como donates a portion of every sale to charity. But most of all, to support their eco-friendly philosophy, they uses fully recyclable boxes, business card, and tissue !
