Monkey Feet

So I was browsing through & saw these FiveFingers foot gloves ! They are so cool. The shoes are suppose to help runners with foot pain and allow them a more enjoyble run. They are very light weight material and each toe tucks into their place! These awesome footies are made by Vibram, an Italian company best known for hard rubber hiking boots. Possibly gone, but never dead

Most shoe gurus will tell you that plastic shoes are out ! No Longer in the picture. Well according to an article in The New York Times, a few designers are bringing back the plastic. Designing from sandals, to a full covered shoe and a “Croc”  look-a-like. Plastic shoes can be comfortable if made with the right combination of rubber. Some really cute sandals that will be releasing soon and made of plastic are designed by Poetic License, so check those out!

WSA informs me that Sebago Docksides turn 40 . The traditional “boat shoe” will be celebrating next year and releasing a limited edition Dockside in honor of their birthday. In addition to celebrating , Sebago will also be putting out some nice offers during next year. These shoes have been out , forever !!! I can remember my grandpa’ owning a pair, it’s so nice to see them still running strong, specially still in style .

NSRA Makes Some Changes …

National Shoe Retailers Association recently upgraded a few folks in their company. Congrats to Alan Miklofsky for being elected new chairman of the association.
