Ruthie Davis’Sushi Combo Shoes

With the recession going on, it was a good idea, but in fact we’re not sure…Shoe designer Ruthie Davis launched a collection of shoe “combos” consisting of one Davis by Ruthie Davis pump and one takedown flat in the same color.   Each shoe is crafted from Italian leather with some featuring hardware details. The two shoes are sold together for $698 to $798, which is very expensive to my honest opinion, but you are getting a Ruthie Davis graffiti bag, made for toting the shoes around for work or travel.  And in keeping with the sushi-named collection, the styles are named after our favoutites japanese treats: Tempura, Edamame, and Sashimi. Jimmy Choo shoppers to be issued with wristbands to stop fighting

As I hope you all know, Jimmy Choo’s collection for H&M is launching next saturday the 14th (just in time for my bday!). The first shoppers will be offered wristbands to prevent fighting over $49 Jimmy Choo. Thousands of shoppers (including me) are expected to queue from midnight to try to get a pair of the luxury brand shoes. The first 160 people in line at selected stores at 9am on Saturday, November 14, will get the wristbands. They will be given ten minutes in the VIP area in groups of 20 – but limited to buying one item per size. Can’t wait ti fight !

New York Yankee’s Nike !

Nike will be releasing the Nike Air Trainer 1 “New York Yankees” incorporating the usual Yankees color scheme of navy and white with a big “NEW” and “YORK” on the heel, and a script “NYC” hit on the one tongue tag and a home plate design on the other. The sneakers will be arriving at Footlocker within the next two weeks.  You can see pictures here.

Nicole Richie’s Winter Kate Collection

Nicole Richie’s debut ready-to-wear collection “Winter Kate” will launch exclusively online at my-wardrobe.com in early 2010. The collection takes inspiration from Nicole’s Boho style, and features a mix of heels, wedges, moccasin boots and even flat sandals. Using exotic materials, heavy embellishments and lots of fun, this shoe collection is sure to be a hit. You can see the first pictures here.

Reebok’s new designer Pump

After talking about Nike, I feel we have to feature the new Reebok Pump! Toronto’s Stolen Riches has added their touch on the classic Reebok as part of their 20th anniversary celebration. The Canadian crew produced a special edition sneaker that can be worn even in Canada’s bad weather! The sneakers have been Teflon treated to resist snow and water. Check out the pictures here.
