How did I miss this?? Adidas teamed up with Star Wars and is set to release a line of sneakers modeled after all things Star Wars. I was a HUGE fan of Star Wars as a little tot in the 80’s…not so much of the recent films, but they will definitely always have a place in my heart. I would totally rock a pair of Adidas sneakers designed after one of the characters….I would probably choose the Yoda ones because he is still my favorite little smart guy!

Tom shoes listed their top 10 favorite shoe drops of 2009 on their blog and they include, South Africa, New Orleans, and of course Argentina. Last year TOM’s shoes seemed to be everywhere and I only expect that this will continue as we plunge in to 2010. They are doing great things and we love it!

Congrats to Soles4Souls who tagged another celebrity to give away shoes recently and it is none other than Kim Kardashian of the infamous Kardashian family….can’t say that I am a huge fan, but definitely great publicity for the charity so that is great!

Footwear News gives a peek into the spring Paris Hilton line and I must say it looks pretty good….The line is produced by Antebi Footwear. The owner is Steven Antebi who Julie had the pleasure to meet last fall. He explained to her that they work closely with Paris in order to make sure the line is a reflection of her personal style….The price point is a good one as they retail for about 90 bucks. Mr. Antebi is a very nice guy and we hope that this year is a good one for him!

Vida Shoe just launched a spin off of their successful line, Pastry called “Pastry Pop Stars”. This line is focused on sparkles and fun according to the article on FN. The shoes will hit stores next month along with the launch of their website. The shoes retail from $25-$35 making them very affordable for the young pink sparkle loving kiddies.
