Wow, I really cannot believe it has already been one year since the launch of shoebizness.com. I remember walking the floor at WSA last year attempting to explain to people what my little site is all about. Honestly, at the time I didn’t even really know yet, but I knew I was on to something! At WSA I met Sheena and then in the following weeks, I met Tom Cassidy and Ken Proctor from a response to a silly little posting I did about companies that started out of the trunk of a car. Fast forward a few more months, I relaunched the site with a fresh new design and added the job posting section. A person like me is always looking forward, but as I sit here preparing to leave for Vegas one year later, I have to say that I am proud. 2009 was quite a year in more ways than one, but I am glad I stuck with it and cannot wait to see what happens next! My move to the Big Apple is less than two weeks away! So exciting!!
