We met our new friends at Korkers when they responded to a  job posting (check the job board to see what they have available!!) offer that Julia sent through our Linkedin group and while we were checking out their website, we discovered an interesting brand we didn’t yet know about.  We were excited when they responded positively to being featured on the site, so check this out!

Korkers is a Portland based manufacture that produces  all terrain footwear with interchangeable soles that provide various levels of traction depending on the terrain. Yes, you can easily change and customize the soles of your Korkers shoes for a variety of different activities and feel safe and secure that you will not slip, fall or bust your bum. haha

Fisherman Arthur Smith  hand-made the first functional and versatile cleat system Korkers shoe, using scrap rubber, nylon cord and carbide spikes all those years ago and the concept is still in use.  The company used every day knowledge of the outdoor world and inovative technologies to develop  this cool and unique full line of versatile footwear systems and it isn’t by chance that their latest Guide Wading Boot was recognized as the “Best in Category” in Fly Fisherman Magazine’s 2010 Gear Guide.
