Ken Braun and JUMP

JUMP – “Are you ready to Jump?”
A couple of weeks ago I mentioned J75 JUMP sneakers in ‘Daily 5′ and was very excited to finally get my hands on them. I met Ken Braun during FFaNY and had the pleasure of talking with him again at FN Platform. He is the sales rep and Product Developer for JUMP. Ken started out in the footwear industry with Steve Madden as a buyer for their retail stores. He later went on to help develop some of their men’s footwear. He introduced what he likes to call the “Russian Mafia shoes,” the jeans friendly, black leather shoe. What really impressed me about Ken is his ability to speak Portuguese. He is very cool and is a great fit representing JUMP.
Ken was happy to tell me all about JUMP which is a lifestyle footwear brand dedicated to providing the discerning individual with inspiring design and directional fashion. They began as an athletic sneaker company in Taiwan in 1975. Today, the brand pays homage to its sneaker heritage with Jump Deluxe, the definitive convergence of high-end street and daring luxury, focusing on a young crew with cool attitude. Since their founding they have expanded around the globe available everywhere from Asia and Europe to the US, Canada and Latin America. For Ken, the trend for the coming season is straight leg jeans, high tops, big tongues and bright colors. You can find all of that and more (except the jeans) in the JUMP product line.
All the sneakers styles including the TABOOxJUMP hit stores with pricepoints around $198-$298. Jump offers something more affordable with their “For the People” collection, which has something for everyone and an affordable price of $90-$180. The full collection is available in their SoHo boutique at 89 Spring St., in the heart of SOHO (between Broadway and Mercer) in NYC. JUMP is also sold at a host of distinguished retailers the likes of Saks, Bloomingdale’s, Kitson, Oak, Akira and Nordstrom.
I’m so ready to JUMP! Visit www.jumpcorp.com for more info or contact Ken Braun kenbraun@jumpcorp.com
