Nancy is a Sweetheart…

Julia introduced me to quite an interesting lady namedNancy Katz’ who is a shoe ornament designer. Julia spoke so highly of her telling me that she is one of the people I just had to meet! She was right….I had a great time visiting with Nancy and checking out all her fun creations! Her goal with her NANCY KATZ DESIGNS is simply “accessorizing  the shoe to pull an outfit together.” She makes custom ornaments for shoes and they are designed to match and complete any outfit. She uses precious stones and metals  like pearls, gold, and Swarovski crystals or simply whatever she is inspired by. “It’s always fun playing with shoes,” Nancy said when we visited her at the FFANY show a few weeks ago.  “It isn’t about following the leader of the group but being an individual.”  That fits her designs and her personality perfectly! The shoe ornaments are meant to spice up those classic pumps and make them sizzle for your customers! What is even better, is that these ornaments are not limited to only be placed on shoes. Nancy  encourages them  to  be clipped  anywhere and they work really well as a general fashion accessory. I wouldn’t try and use them as earrings though, the clasp is very strong and might hurt! haha

Nancy is a lovely energetic woman with a lot to share. She loves sharing stories about the shoe industry.  She is based in sunny Florida. She is very sophisticated and classy and it shows in her NANCY KATZ DESIGNS.
