Ffany ended last week on Thursday June 10th, and I cannot wait to see those new fall 2010 shoes in stores!

As some of you might know, this is my second trade-show ever. My first was Magic in Vegas, and now, I can say that I am an expert in shoes…or getting to be anyway!  :) Rich came along this time, as a shoe show virgin (he will tell you all about his experience) and we were running around the city like maniacs in between meetings, Haiti relief effort things and FFaNY. Awesome week. It is so much fun to spend a day looking  at new upcoming shoes all day. It is kind of like an honor for me. What can I say, I am a girl that looooves shoes!

I have to say, FFaNY  is a bit different than Magic.  FFaNY takes place at the Hilton in Manhattan where most brands are in the main area of the hotel ballrooms which looks similar to how the set up was in Vegas but others where set up in the hotel rooms. I guess there where a lot of participants, in fact I know there was! Julia told me that she spoke with Joe Moore the President of FFaNY and he told her there were 20% more brands from last year!  The bigger brands show  in their New York showroom but thank goodness most are  pretty close to the Hilton.  All I can say is that it was a fun experience! Walking everywhere, meeting so many cool people and visiting our favorite brands.

On the first day we stayed at the Hilton to walk around, see the new shoes and just say hello to our favorite shoebizness friends, such as Matisse, J75 (who is hotter then ever!!! and cant wait for my pair) and so many more!  The second day, we got to go to the hotel rooms to visit the rest of the brands. There we found our friend David Giordano with Pour la Victoire (very much looking for the Michael Jackson shoes), Gina with Nina footwear, Geof Cullenton with Zodiac USA and much more.

Do not worry we will get into more details about each brand in the next upcoming days. So you better stay tuned to keep up!    For now, let me be nice and give you guys a little peek of the shoes coming out for fall 2010:
