“Butterfly Bliss”
by Mary Krajick
I’m a girl who LOVES her high heels and but (as much as I hate to admit it) I can’t last more than a couple hours without doing the side to side dance to make my feet feel better; I’m always carrying around another pair of shoes with me. On the second day of Platform (in flats, I wasn’t going to kid myself two days in a row) I walked into the Butterfly Twists booth where I met Vicky McGeaun who showed me the brilliant idea of foldable flats. The British brand is coming over to the United States to become a must have item and in my opinion, I absolutely think it will be. The unique thing about these ballet flats is they don’t just roll or fold any old way, there are lines in the bottom of the shoes to act as a sort of guide on how to fold them. The purpose of this feature is two-fold
. It helps keep the shape of the sole of the shoe so it doesn’t get ruined and it makes it neat and organized for easy storage in any cute little hand bag that you may take with you for a night out on the town. They are expanding their brand from just the satin ballet flat which retails at about $20 to different materials, colors and prints. They are so cute, efficient, and affordable that I think any girl on the go should invest in a pair. Check out the Butterfly Twists website!
