I really enjoyed finding the truly unique footwear brands at Platform. This one caught my eye as I walked by the Swamisz booth because of the uniqueness of the structure of the shoe. Simone Eccleton and Mariam Anvarali were happy to share the cool yoga inspired footwear with us! The brand launched at the last Platform in February and has been a big hit in Japan, New York and Canada. This is no ordinary sandal it is modeled after an ancient Indian shoe with a toe plug that hits pressure points in the foot that certainly will be attractive to the yoga enthusiast who loves to relax. These shoes are meant to make you feel good and keep you relaxed before and after your favorite yoga class at the gym. I’m not much a yoga person (I find running more relaxing) but I could definitely pretend so I can wear these super cool shoes!
