Professional Girls Night Out!
by Mary Krajick

Pearl and Company’s first Professional Girls Night Out was a huge success and a great time. Professional women from all over the fashion industry came out to Whiskey Park for a night of mingling and cocktails. We were lucky enough to have friend of Julia and Shoe Bizness, Nicole Rivers write about her experience at the event. Thanks to Nicole and all the other attendees, we’re glad you had a great time! Get ready for the next one on November 3rd!

A few weeks ago I attended the inaugural “Professional Girls Night Out” event. Hosted by my friend Julia Kreibich, of Shoebizness.com, the event was designed to connect professional women from footwear and other arenas of the fashion industry  for the purposes of networking, business opportunities, mentoring, and of course fun!

The event, took place at Whiskey Park, on 6th Avenue and 59th Street. If you’re not familiar with this space it’s a popular, “testosterone-heavy”, haunt for local executives, so it was ironic and refreshing to see the venue buzzing with so many stylish ladies.  I met some fascinating women, who are doing some truly incredible things.  It was really a pleasure to be able to interact and get to know other women making strides in the industry in a open relaxing atmosphere. I hope to not only maintain but gain additional network connections at future PGNO events. Thank you and congratulations to the ladies of Shoebizness.com for organizing this  fantastic evening.
