Hello, all! I’m Nicole and I’m currently interning with Pearl and Company. A few weeks ago the other intern, Costina, and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit our first trade show- FFANY! It was super exciting and we got to meet so many friendly and passionate people within the footwear industry.

What Matiko does best: the day-to-night sandal

I can’t stress how great the ladies of Matiko were. This brand is straight out of Long Beach, CA and laid back beach style is definitely one aspect of the brand. As of late, however, the brand is creating more versatile footwear that can go from day to night with a simple dress change. Their all-day shoes and sandals are appropriate for both in-style moms and their trendy teenage daughters. It’s no wonder they’ve been picked up by both Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters!
