Maybe India is even more than 10 years behind China in Infrastructure development. |

IMHO: - China is not dumping the products – we are too expensive and over-over-over-taxed, - our politicians sold our industry to China by opening the borders – to sell few aircrafts for a few more years, - our societies are deep in a lazy mentality – if we open factories we have to import workers or to use robots, - our Anglo-Saxon buyers know much less than the Chinese owners about the products and costs – they have no arguments to discuss, the only argument is ‘I need this price’, - our side gave to Chinese full control of all aspects of NPD, materials, manufacturing, shipping – by only looking at computers and waiting for goods to show up, - with Al Gore we will be even less competitive – he will be much richer and the climate will stay the same. |

China is now the manufacturing centre – there are no alternatives. We have to figure out how to live this. They dictate the terms as there are no sources for those volumes. It is as simple as that |

It’s crazy to see, the whole world is going to give up on China, even India. Kishore, you guys have it in your own hands to be a serious alternate to China. Right now, I’m since 2 years living in India and I was before living in China and I can judge what is going on in both countries. Chinese are not thinking 3 days to put 5 USD from their right pocket into their left pocket. Chinese are doing and Indians are hesitating. You have bigger advantages as China in shoe production, but the mentality of you guys is killing your business. You have the same huge workforce, but you don’t want to deal with them and believe me dealing with Indian workers is much easier as dealing with Chinese workers. |

Hey Mozahir, you misunderstood something. You should be scared, because things in India happens only tomorrow and what will be on the next day? Absolutely nothing. China is not just a hype, China is like broadband and India is like a MTS, Reliance, Tata 3G USB modem, on and off. India is in nothing stroner than China, but as long as you believe this, India won’t have a chance to catch up with them. China is not my favorite country, but they understand the meaning of the delivery date, in India a fairly unknown term. As long as the rich are getting richer without doing something and as long as the poor are being caught in their poverty, India need to be worried about China. |
