This week marks a week that I will never in my life forget. This week has changed my life in a way that I could have never imagined….the reason for this  is because  I finally made the decision to listen to my heart and instincts in every aspect of my life and make changes in order to allow myself to truly emerge into what I know in my heart that I am. Not only professionally, but personally because for me they have always gone hand in hand. It’s amazing what happens when we become aware of our own power and stop living based on what we think people want from us and start living based on what we know to be true from the inside. With this….there was the acceptance of the reality that I have been not wanting to face regarding Shoebizness.com. The reality is that it simply is not where I am able to focus any longer since my career passion has taken me the direction of my art.

I know this will come as a shock to a lot of you, but it has been something I have been trying to figure out for quite sometime now and everything that I have tried to do to keep shoebizness alive just isn’t happening naturally, so with that I have to accept that’s it just not meant to be and that’s okay….I have thouroughly enjoyed the past two or so years that I have had this site and have met so many amazing friends for life and incredible people that I just could never have imagined when I started it…..so for that I am truly thankful and honored!!

This doesn’t mean that I am going to be disappearing from the footwear industry forever, but when I reappear it will be in a whole new capacity and I am extremely excited about it!! I have an understanding for what I am capable of doing and I am going to get it done!! I love the footwear industry and certainly love the people! You are my friends and have taught me so much about business and life!!

I especially want to thank Ken Proctor whose dedication to writing every week has been solid and amazing! He has given so much insight and encouragement to so many people including me and I certainly appreciate it!!
