Footwear Component Sales Agent or Agency

Locations: Eastern Europe and Western Europe
Our client seeks an individual or agency to sell their revolutionary water repellant nano-coating technology to footwear brands and manufacturers. Working with this company can be compared to getting into Teflon or DuPont on the ground floor so the financial rewards can be great. The perfect company or candidate will already have relationships with footwear designers, product directors and manufacturing decisions makers selling components used to make footwear like; leather, shanks, adhesives, upperand lining materials, sole sheets, insoles etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate and confirm new sales and process purchase orders.
• Maintain a vendor file which contains the product information and current pricing.
• Follow up with sales leads provide by the company and respond to query raised by the client.
• Act as the mediator between the company and customer, maintaining a close working relationship with both.
• Follow up with all issues that may arise with the customers.
• Communicate regularly with the company.
• Prepare weekly and quarterly sales reports.
Skills and specifications:
• Must possess strong decision making and problem solving skills.
• Must have good relationships with an existing client base and a proven track record of successful sales.
• Must have good analytical skills to understand the demands of our product and process.
• Must have experience selling wholesale components used in the manufacturing of footwear uppers.
• Must not sell any competitive products.
Education and Qualifications:
A business or a marketing degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years working with the wholesale and manufacturing footwear industry.
