Team Shoebizness – Miami Marathon, Week 1!

Well week one of training was not nearly as much fun as you would think! I pretty much just used it as warming up and had a few 3 mile runs. Today kicks off the official training schedule and countdown! I have exciting news in that I have been recruiting people to run with us as part of “Team Shoebizness” and our good friend Tracy Russ is going to come down from Charlottte, NC to run the full marathon with us!!…

Introducing the new Interns!!

Erika and Julie at the fabric store in Miami. The first day with the new interns Erika Sanchez and Julie Prado was VERY long but fantastic. After two months hanging out with her family and jet setting all across Europe, Julie has made her way to Miami and is now officially part of the Shoebizness.com / Pearl and Company team. I apologize for the slow posts today, but I have been spending some time getting her caught up on all the recent activity. I am so excited for her arrival and you can expect lots of exciting things to come now that she is here!!

DJ AM aka Adam Goldstein is the well known celebrity dj who was found dead in his NYC apartment a week ago today. He was in the process of launching a line of Nike Dunks which has now been postponed as the brand works with his family in order to work out the business details.
