I used to shop at Off Broadway shoes ALL the time when I lived in NC so making the connection with Beth Konney who is their PR Consultant was so much fun especially because she lives in my home town of Charlotte, NC. The memories immediately came flooding back of me walking into the store by my house and wondering what wonderful delights I was going to find! It has been a busy few weeks for me, which is why I’ve been absent from Shoebizness for a little while. First it was a two week trip down to Haiti to volunteer for the relief efforts (more on that later) then five days after I landed in Miami from Haiti, I was in NYC exploring the burrows and getting ready for FFaNY.
What a great idea! I noticed recently that heels.com now features fashion shows for some of it’s brands. What a better way to entice a shopper to buy the shoe that they have been buying. It’s almost as good as trying the shoe on yourself! I would think that for a designer/sales rep, this is a cool way to partner with a retailer in an effort to increase sales.

They do a great job showing fit and design of each shoe!…
