The first day I arrived at FFaNY I couldn’t wait to go visit Ken and Kevan with J75 by Jump. I love these sneakers! The shoes keeps getting better and better, that can only mean that Ken and Kevan have been WORKING!! I mean the styles are hotter then the previous season.

The female sneakers are more feminine with just an extra touch. They added a small strap over the lace which finishes up with a small classy buckle.

Monique Capelta in her booth at SMOTA

Hello there! Erika here! As you may know I’m the new intern here at ShoeBiz. After a long week of hard fast paced work with the amazing Julia and learning a whole bunch of new things, I was given the task of attending SMOTA in Miami. Of course, I was extremely excited but the nerves kicked in as well. Just the thought of meeting all these cool people that play such an important role i…

Rolling in on the floors of the smota showroom is the two fabulaous salespeople, Al and Rebecca, sporting two fabulous brands: Dereon and Naughty Monkey. Both owned by Beyonce’s main company: House of Brands in San Diego, California.

The Shoe Market of the Americas saw a slight decrease in attendance for its fall 2009 show, which ran at the Miami Beach Convention Center from March 1-3. “We were about 8 percent down,” said Executive Director Beverlee Maier. “As expected, everyone’s being conservative.
